Such an ugly error message and can’t make a thing out of it. What the hack is those 0x8ffe… stands for?
Very user unfriendly error message!
Unexpected Error 0x8ffe2740 Occurred
Abit of google resolved the problem.
I tried to start IIS while my skype is on. Http communication port 80 been conflict between IIS and Skype.
Apparently Skype listens on port 80 for incoming calls and turning off the setting in Skype will essentially make Skype worthless because nobody can call you.
So to resolve it and still have Skype I have to use port 81 for my localhost web site.
